1. The office temperature is kept at 67-70 degrees, so you may want to bring a sweater, jacket, or blanket.
2. We have cassette players and CD players for your enjoyment. Bring whatever music you would like to listen to—we have extra batteries as well.
3. You will be prescribed a pain reliever and a mouthrinse following surgery. If you are currently taking any medications, take as prescribed.
4. Do not eat a large meal prior to your surgery. You can eat whatever you would like.
5. Be aware that for a few days following your procedure, a soft diet is suggested. Examples of soft foods are pastas, soup, baked potatoes, etc… Avoid chips, popcorn, spicy foods, and any other sharp foods.
6. Slight bleeding will occur after your surgery. Remember to change your sheets and pillow cases to darker colors.
7. It’s also a good idea to place some wet washcloths in a ziplock bag and put them in the freezer. These are great ice packs.
8. Let us know of any changes in your medical history.
